History

Founding and Early History

The country was initially the home of Titans, the precursors to the modern day Giant. Jarl Thrymgard Skjoldr is the one who began the construction of the Citadel in Frostfällt. This lead to the commonality of humans, dwarves, and the Giants which the Titans made by blending their own blood with the mold able blood of Humans. The titans of Frostfällt were over taken by a disease which they could not cure fast enough leading to the quarantine of their children and the extinction of Titans.

Citadels are magically enhanced mega structures that can protect the people of the world and country from nearly every planetary extension possibility.

Major Historical Events

War of Titans and the Gods

Initially, the gods roamed the earth, treating the titans as slaves for molding the earth. The gods then created the base 3 races of people on the planet: Humans, Dwarves, and Elves. As the races intermingled, many more races began to form. Halflings from Dwarves and Humans, gnomes from halflings and dwarves. Many of the other races such as goblins, orcs, assmiar, and tieflings came later after the creation of the external planes. Because of the poor treatment of the titans, they waged a political war, and killed one of the children of Belladonna. The gods then loosed a plague on the titans, causing their extinction. While note worthy the death of a god is possible,,, the history is lost to time and record. Only the gods remember such a feat, and safe guard the knowledge of how the god died.

The god that died was the god of wealth. This was a time before the gods were given names by their followers as they did not need names. The god was the sixth child of Grandal and Belladonna, a Son. They died by an ancient weapon made by the titans forged from the scales of Nazzurath.

The Creation of the Planes

Nearly 100000 years after the death of the titans, the gods were beginning to notice the souls of the dead filling the planets magical wellspring causing many surges of magic to create catastrophic disasters, some appearing to be natural and others only fathomable through the explanation of magic. With this, they made the planes to control and isolate some of these destructive magics, and to create homes for the wandering souls on the earth. With this came the 25 external planes of Tazzurath. One of the terrible disasters to happen in Frostfällt was a massive storm that covered the whole section of land in fire, the snow melting and nearly all of life dying from the magical flames.

The Beginning of the Demon Wars

A direct cause of the creation of the planes was the creation of Gehenna, where evil spirits of the earth were further corrupted and strengthened by the energies stored there. This lead to demons and devils being created, and the world of Tazzurath began to be infested by such creatures along with other extraordinarily powerful creatures. Soon, the demons became predictable, exterminating all human-like life to grow its army. The citadels became the only beacons of hope for the people of the world, and Frostfällt was the only place the Titans made a citadel that was known of for a very long time.

Recent History

Sealing of the Planes

About 10,000 years before present day, planer travel was ended after a warrior of extreme arcane strength severed many of the bridges between the planes, and made extra sure to end the possibility of Gehenna reaching Tazzurath again. Because of this, living creatures cannot travel to other planes. However, spirits can still freely move between planes. Murkwurdheim is still accessible as it is a "mirror" of the material plane.

Crowning of King Erhardt

The new king was crowned 10,423 ADW. His reign is beginning to grow old and his ability as a king as become much more apparent as he has become more kingly over time.

Freedom of the Supernatural

Erhardt established laws to protect and allow for supernatural creatures such as Vampires, Werewolves, and Undead who are competent individuals to have the same rights and protections as any other member of society. This also includes the establishment of government ran "Shift-cages" and "Blood banks". These are protections for the people of Frostfällt that allow a smoother coalition between the supernatural and common-folk.
